About FGCU Marine Ecology Guides

This blog hosts guides to various marine ecology topics, written by honors students in Florida Gulf Coast University's undergraduate Marine Ecology course. The guides are based on the students' term papers, which are "synthetic reviews" of the published scientific literature on marine ecology topics of interest to the students. We hope that these topics will be of interest to the public, as well. The student authors of each guide have been instructed to deliver the material in a way that is both true to the science and accessible to the public. Feel free to post your comments and questions on these posts, and the student authors or the course instructor will try to reply as soon as possible. Enjoy!
